The mocăniţa, an old mountain train on narrow rails, tracted by a steam engine, passes near the Mica Bucovină inn. If you come to us in summer, you will certainly jump in for a ride.

On demand, you can visit a sheephold close to Moldoviţa! The shepards will receive you with green ewe cheese and waggish words.

Any time of year, you can assist our people sacrify pigs (now respecting the EU norms ) and prepare pork specialities. On demand.

Cold mountain waters are natural habitat for many species: the trout,  the barbel etc. Come fish some!

Sometimes, berries (bilberries, blackberries, raspberries) do abbund in the neighboring forests. They also wait to be picked up .

The mushroom picking is a very pleasant and healthy activity, as it implies walking in the forest. In any season except winter, our woods provide boletus, gălbiori, and other local species.

When there is no snow in your region, we might have plenty of. It's then possible (and recommendable) to climb our surrounding hills, in order to verify Newton's law. We provide slides.
